As part of the Texas Leadership Forum, I spoke with several student leaders and asked them about their future plans. Matthew Jauregui attended Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas. Matthew is a member of the National Honor Society, a National Merit Hispanic Scholar, and a member of the Academic Decathlon Team, which placed at District, Regional, and State meets. He will be studying business and philosophy at the University of Nebraska this fall. In this interview we talk about how theater helped him open up, the importance of having your own voice as a student, and how his future plans have been influenced by the Texas Leadership Forum.
